Who We Are

Hello, hola, oi 👋 We are Optemization — the world’s first Notion consultancy, founded in 2020. We’re a fully remote, modern team with a flat hierarchy that values transparency, collaboration, and a growth mindset. We are proud to be one of Notion’s official partners and have worked with prominent startups such as Discord, Chime, and Patreon, among many others.

A Day in the Life

As a Workspace Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in building scalable Notion workspaces that enhance productivity and streamline workflows for our enterprise clients. You'll collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique business needs and translate them into highly functional workspaces that deliver efficient, intelligent solutions. Backed by our team of highly experienced Developers, Designers, and Engineers, you'll always have the support you need.

Key Responsibilities

Workspace Development: Design and build scalable, intuitively designed Notion workspaces that support operational workflows and exceed expectations. The ability to integrate Notion AI, Custom Agents, automations, or other low-code tools as needed is essential. You'll work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into highly functional, effective workspaces that drive productivity.
Project Management: Manage 3-4 active client engagements simultaneously, balancing asynchronous and synchronous communication to ensure clarity, timely delivery, and smooth execution. Build and maintain strong client relationships by being responsive, organized, and solution-oriented, proactively providing regular updates and trainings so clients can confidently use and maintain their Notion workspaces.
Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with our team to align on project objectives, share context, and ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience throughout your engagements.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest Notion features, workspace design best practices and industry trends including automation, Notion AI, Custom Agents, and other low code tools to continuously advance your technical skills.

Technical Requirements

Notion Expertise: Demonstrates advanced, hands-on experience building Notion workspaces in a professional setting, specifically for teams. Our engagements are complex, often supporting large teams with sophisticated workflows, so the ideal candidate will have the expertise to deliver scalable, enterprise-level workspaces.

Notion Certifications: All candidates must hold (or are in the process of obtaining) the following Notion certifications
- Notion Academy Essentials
- Notion Academy Workflows
- Notion Academy Advanced
- Notion Certified Admin
Notion Service Specialist certification is a bonus and will strengthen your application.
Automation Tools: Has professional hands-on experience with automation tools, specifically Zapier, Make, and n8n.
Integrations: Is comfortable setting up integrations between Notion and third-party tools, connecting systems to create seamless, efficient workflows for clients.
