Who We Are
Hello, hola, oi 👋 We are Optemization — the world's first Notion Consultancy. We’re a fully remote, modern team with a flat hierarchy that values transparency, teamwork, and a growth mindset.
Our small but mighty team of 10 individuals (and growing!) from around the globe collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including mid-size US tech startups, agencies, and Venture Capital firms. We're passionate about helping companies achieve operational excellence through innovative solutions.
Optemization summed up in one sentence: “We take our work seriously, but not ourselves.”
A Day in the Life
As a Notion Workspace Developer, you'll play a crucial role in building customized Notion workspaces that enhance productivity and streamline processes for our clients using Notion and other low-code tools. You'll work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into elegant and effective Notion workspaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Communication & Updates: Proactively communicate with clients, addressing project-related questions and concerns. Meeting with clients over Zoom and providing regular updates on project progress, ensuring clients are always informed and engaged.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional client service. You’ll be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
- Workspace Development: Implement highly-functional and intuitively designed Notion workspaces that meet client requirements and exceed expectations — this may also include integrating other low-code tools with Notion, so being open-minded to learning new tools is essential to success in this role.
- Client Onboarding & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to clients to ensure they can effectively utilize their new Notion workspaces.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal team members to align on project objectives and ensure seamless project execution.
- Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest Notion features, best practices, and industry trends (such as automation, AI etc) to continuously enhance your skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience building and implementing Notion workspaces in a professional environment — our projects are not your typical/basic Notion workspace builds. You may be working with large teams and more advanced/complex workspaces, so if that challenge excites you, then you are in the right place!
- This is a client-facing role, so fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Thrive in a startup-like environment — things move fast, priorities can shift, and you’ll need to adapt on the fly. Resilience and the ability to roll with the punches are key.
- Open-minded to learning other no-code tools and integrations with Notion (such as Whalesync, Zapier, Make etc), since most of our projects go beyond “just Notion.”
